A New Maximum Power Point Tracking Technique for Thermoelectric Generator Modules

Thermoelectric generators (TEGs) are devices that convert heat into electricity. This paper is about the design of a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) technique for TEG module. The module built using 204 TEGs connected in series. It to load through DC/DC boost converter. MPPT used this work Interval Type 2 Fuzzy Logic Controller (IT2FLC). To verify its performance, IT2FLC compared with traditional Perturb and Observe (P&O) algorithm case power voltage response at steady state, switching, various ranges temperature differences (ΔT). modeled whole system simulated successfully MATLAB SIMULINK R2017a.
